2026High-performance .vox importer for Unity with greedy meshing & texture baking
Gameplay Programmer · Tools Engineer · Technical Content Creator
I design gameplay systems, ship native Unity tools and publish interactive experiences — solo and with teams. Based in Peru, working with studios worldwide.
About
I’m José Jaspe — known online as Miventech. I’ve spent the last several years building games, tools and interactive experiences with Unity and C#, while sharing what I learn on YouTube and TikTok.
My work spans the full stack of Unity: gameplay systems, custom editor tooling, asset import pipelines, rendering, and the kind of cross-cutting infrastructure that keeps a project alive as it grows.
I care about clean architecture — SOLID, design patterns, event-driven systems — and about shipping things that real people actually use. Most of my tools are MIT-licensed and a few have become small open-source standards (NativeVoxReader is at 25★ on GitHub).
I’m currently working on a cross-platform GIS tool that runs in VR and on Windows, with a node-based visual programming layer for visualising Revit and AutoCAD models.
How I work
Small working builds beat large unfinished ones. Every project here was released publicly — no vapor.
Code is read more than written. I invest in patterns, naming, and tooling that pay back over the lifetime of a project.
A good editor script or runtime library pays off across every project. That’s why most of my work is open-source.
Sharing the work publicly — videos, source, devlogs — is how I keep myself honest and improve fastest.
Featured work

Beyond games and tools, I publish lowpoly and voxel asset packs for other developers.
